Jointly organised by CUHK Graduate School and CUHK Federation of Graduate School Alumni Associations (FGSAA), the Graduate School Seminar 2025 brings together distinguished CUHK scholars and accomplished alumni to explore holistic approaches to wellness, offering fresh perspectives on integrating wisdom, innovation, and self-care.

Date: 31 October 2025 (Friday)

Time: 3:00pm - 5:30pm

Venue: LT2, Yasumoto International Academic Park, CUHK

Join us for an insightful afternoon featuring thought-provoking dialogue led by distinguished CUHK scholars and alumni. The seminar will delve into the synergy between Chinese Medicine, mindfulness practices, and creative exercise strategies, offering fresh perspectives on cultivating well-being in today's fast-paced world.

We are pleased to have invited, Prof. Eric LEE, Associate Professor (Clinical), JC School of Public Health and Primary Care, Prof. Eric POON, Assistant Professor, Department of Sports Science and Physical Education, and Dr. Tik Lun MOK, Lecturer, School of Chinese Medicine as keynote speakers.

Prof. Eric LEE, Prof. Eric POON, and Dr. Tik Lun MOK bring diverse expertise to the intersection of health and wellness. Prof. Eric LEE's research on hypertension and lifestyle interventions has informed international guidelines; Prof. Eric POON explores the cardio-metabolic benefits of high-intensity interval training (HIIT), with interests in sport nutrition and fitness; and Dr. Tik Lun MOK bridges psychology and Traditional Chinese Medicine through his study of classical texts and medical history. Together, they offer holistic insights into innovative approaches to well-being.

This will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Jacqueline CHOI, Specialist in Public Health Medicine, CUHK Medical Centre.

There will also be a networking session at the end of the Seminar for the alumni, students and speakers to network and exchange ideas.

All CUHK students, alumni and staff are welcome to sign up for the event.
