Programme details | The Training Course for Ophthalmic Assistant prepares students to assist the professional members of ophthalmic team, including Ophthalmologists, Ophthalmic Nurses, Optometrists and Opticians to provide patient care by performing different eye- and vision-related clinical functions. This course includes theoretical components such as basic eye anatomy and common eye disorders, as well as practical skills such as medical history taking, vision assessment, and more specialized testing procedures such as Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and visual field testing.
