On 8 July 2024, CUHK LAW will hold an Alumni Online Seminar on "Web3.0 and Crypto/Virtual Assets – Trends, Regulations and Development" by Mr. SK Lee, Chief Executive of RD Wallet (SVF0016). The seminar will cover current trends and the regulatory landscape of Web3.0 and Crypto/Virtual Assets. Through several case studies, the seminar will explore the linkages between traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralised finance (DeFi), Stablecoins and CBDC. It will also discuss future trends and the potential impact of Web3.0 and Crypto/Virtual Assets on the financial industry.
