Programme details
This programme aims to examine the origin and development of intangible cultural heritage and raise the awareness of its conservation. Throughout the study of arts and crafts, the students will get a more comprehensive picture of transmission, inheritance and cultural significance of Chinese folk arts, providing the basis for revitalizing traditions with innovative approaches. The students will also be cultivated appreciation for art so that they could thrive on better quality of their own works. Moreover, local folk arts will be discussed in order to enhance student's aesthetic experiences while encouraging them to explore the history and culture of Hong Kong.
