Tianjiu Therapy 2020 –“Cultivating Yang in Spring and Summer - Preventing Winter Diseases in Summer”

Registration Begins: 8 June 2020 (Monday), 10:00 am

Integrative Medical Centre, CUHK (IMC) will provide Tianjiu Therapy from July to August 2020. Interested parties are welcome to register through our website and hotline. Tianjiu Therapy is carried out on the three hottest days in the year according to the 24 Chinese solar terms. By applying warm-natured herbal patches on certain acupoints to stimulate body to regulate the meridian system and to improve immunity based on the principles of “Cultivating Yang-energy in spring and summer time (春夏養陽)” and “Preventing winter-occurring diseases in summer (冬病夏防)”. Tianjiu Therapy is suitable for individuals especially with stuffy nose, runny nose, asthma, stomach pain, diarrhea, dysmenorrhea, cold (recurrent) etc..

Also, Portable Chinese Medicine Herbal Sachets, which are suitable for above individuals with Tianjiu Therapy, are available for purchase at IMC (HK$33 each).
