Explore study interest: CUHK Summer Institute (SI) 2020 for secondary school students
Introduction
The CUHK Summer Institute (SI) is a credit-bearing summer programme designed for secondary 5 students to explore their study interest as well as to prepare for their future studies at CUHK. A wide variety of online courses with live lessons will let students explore the academic fields available at CUHK.
Students can take one or two courses, each carrying one credit. Upon successfully completing the courses and fulfilling their specified requirements, students could earn a maximum of two credits which may count towards their undergraduate studies at CUHK in the future (with the exception of some programmes).
Credit-bearing Courses
Courses in accounting, architecture, chemistry, contemporary arts, ecotourism, electrocardiography (ECG) circuit, law, marketing, nursing, philosophy, statistics, and sustainable energy are on offer.
Target Students
Secondary school students who are applying to universities in the year 2021, i.e. Secondary 5 students of the Hong Kong system (HKDSE) or equivalent
