CUHK Entrepreneur Day 2021, a fiesta of CU-ers' innovation and creativity, will be held on September 24-25 (Friday and Saturday) in hybrid mode and welcome the online and onsite participation of all CU entrepreneurs! Online exhibition, the CUHK Entrepreneurship Competition, as well as a series of entrepreneurial talks and workshops will facilitate attendees to get inspirations, connections and insightful tips for setting up start-ups in various regions.
Why should you join the event?
Shortlisted startup teams will be able to participate in the following exclusive activities for exhibitors for FREE:
• Online exhibition to showcase innovative ideas/projects and increase exposure opportunities
• The 5th CUHK Entrepreneurship Competition to stand for a chance to win cash prizes of a total of HKD 100,000. The finalists may be directly selected for the Science and Technology Entrepreneur Programme (STEP) of Hong Kong Science Park (HKSTP), and enjoy seed funds of up to HKD 100,000 and shared workspace
• "Meeting with Investors Session" to get to know alumni investors from different sectors and exchange startup experience with a group of alumni entrepreneurs
• Briefing session to help improve the PITCHING skills
• Visit to the Hong Kong Science Park facilities, including ROBOTICS CATALYSING CENTRE and HKAI LAB, etc.
• Media exposure or coverage on "CU Alumni" quarterly magazine
• Inclusion on the newly built “CUHK Entrepreneurs Directory" website to increase brand publicity and strengthen the support network
• Meeting like-minded entrepreneurs from CUHK, sharing experiences and expanding the network of CU entrepreneurial ecosystem
