CUHK LAW Team Won the 2022 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition Regional Rounds

Congratulations to the CUHK LAW Team on winning the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition Regional Rounds held on 19-20 March 2022 in Hong Kong! The team also won the competition's First and Second Best Oralist Awards, as well as the prize for Best Memorial (Applicant).

The winning team coached by CUHK LAW Prof. Gregory GORDON and alumni Joshua YEUNG and Ann LEE, consists of members Jandy YUEN (LLB), Harry TSANG (LLB), Christopher GIN (PCLL), Alvin WONG (PCLL), and Jack LEE (JD). The team's student coach is Sabrina LAU (JD). Christopher Gin and Alvin Wong won the Best Oralist and Second Best Oralist Awards, respectively. As the winner of the regional tournament, the CUHK LAW Team now advances to the Jessup's international rounds.

Established in 1960, Jessup is the world's largest moot court competition, with participants from roughly 700 law schools in 100 countries and jurisdictions. The Competition is a simulation of a fictional dispute between countries before the International Court of Justice, the judicial organ of the United Nations. Details are available here.
