Since 2019, the team of the platform Cubic Zine which is under the CUHK Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Service(ORKTS) has conducted regular interviews to let people inside and outside the university to learn more about the social innovation stories of CUHK scholars. 


ORKTS has successfully produced the first publication about social innovation at CUHK to promote the development of knowledge transfer and encourage more scholars to transform knowledge into social innovation actions for the benefit of society. The new book consolidated Cubic Zine articles, featuring various contexts of "Innovative Thinking", "Disadvantaged Groups", "Physical and Mental Health", "People and the Environment" and "Lifestyle and Culture".


Characters on the cover come from a variety of faculties and departments, such as Anthropology, Psychology, Educational Psychology, Linguistics, Physics, Electronic Engineering, School of Architecture, School of Public Health, School of Journalism and Communication, and School of Life Sciences, which demonstrates CUHK's impact in a variety of fields.
