School of Continuing and Professional Studies - New Course: Basic Scores Reading
| Programme details | Students of the course will learn to read and comprehend sheet music on numbered and staff musical notation. The course begins with fundamental music theory and knowledge, for example, music clefs, concepts of tonality and rhythm etc. Solfège (the application of sol-fa syllables) would be introduced for music sight-reading. Students will have opportunities to comprehend different styles of music and apply the scores reading skills on instrumental or singing performance.
