Programme details | "Philosophy guides life" - live a happy life with the wisdom of philosophers. Ancient philosophers sought not only knowledge, but also a certain way of life and attitude. They use the wisdom of philosophy to try to cure all kinds of perplexities in life. Living a good life is the original intention of philosophy. Since the 1980s, the theory and practice of philosophical counseling have been revived in Europe and the United States, with Epicurean, skeptic, and Stoic philosophies once again gaining favor and professional philosophical counselors appearing. This course introduces the basic principles and practice of philosophical counseling and explains how philosophical counseling can help people who are troubled by muddled thinking and confused value system.
