【Highlighted Programme】 CUHK Entrepreneur Day 2023

The 9th CUHK Entrepreneur Day (E-Day), organized by the CUHK Alumni Torch Fund, will be held on September 22nd (Fri) to 23rd (Sat) at Yasumoto International Academic Park (YIA). E-Day aims to provide visitors with insights into various research achievements and entrepreneurial projects in fields such as artificial intelligence, biomedical science, big data, engineering, and energy, with the theme of building a smart life. The event will foster entrepreneurship among alumni, entrepreneurs, investors, and individuals interested in startups with plentiful exhibitions, talks, networking activities, an entrepreneurship competition and more.

Alumnus Taurus Cheung (05/SC/Computer Engineering, 07/MPhil in Computer Science and Engineering), founder of ShipAny, the first smart logistics gateway for the HK e-commerce market and alumnus Kenneth Lau (09/GS/PG Dip. in Prof. Accountancy), CEO (International Business) of HKTV, will talk about how to develop and expand the e-commerce and logistics in Hong Kong after the pandemic.

Collaborated with the Alumni Association in Shanghai, the first Shanghai-Hong Kong exchange event will have guest speakers from two regions to respectively introduce the entrepreneurial environment, policies, funding and more. They will also share how Hong Kong business could enter the mainland market and how the China corporations could expand internationally.
