Tianjiu Therapy 2024

Clinics of School of Chinese Medicine, CUHK (CUSCM) will provide Tianjiu Therapy from July to August 2024. Interested parties are welcome to register through our website and hotline. Tianjiu Therapy is conducted during San Fu Tian when Yang Qi is strong, which is one of the hottest periods of the year according to the 24 Solar Terms. By applying the warm-natured herbal patches on certain acupoints, it stimulates the body to regulate the meridian system and improve the immunity, based on the principles of ‘Cultivating Yang-Energy in Spring and Summer’ (春夏養陽) and ‘Preventing Winter-Occurring Diseases in Summer’ (冬病夏防). Tianjiu Therapy is suitable for individuals with cold syndrome of allergic rhinitis, asthma, stomach pain, diarrhea, dysmenorrhea, cold (recurrent) etc. Portable Chinese Medicine Herbal Sachets are also available for purchase at HK$33 each for suitable participants.
