"CUHK Entrepreneurs 3" will be officially released at the Hong Kong Book Fair this July. The book features 19 outstanding entrepreneurial stories covering diverse fields including technological innovation, social entrepreneurship, and family business succession. It includes the entrepreneurial journeys of Professor Dennis Lo, The Vice-Chancellor , Professor Francis Chan, founder of G-NiiB and former Dean of CUHK's Medical School, as well as the latest developments of CUHK entrepreneur Mr. Ricky Wong, founder of HKTVmall, among others.
The Center for Entrepreneurship at CUHK Business School launched the "CUHK Entrepreneurs" publication project in 2010. As the world faces unprecedented changes and Hong Kong's economy and society undergo extraordinary transformation, the book showcases the entrepreneurial practices of seven current CUHK professors and their students. It demonstrates how, with encouragement from universities and the government, academics have been applying innovative thinking to address social challenges and drive societal transformation through technology. Additionally, this volume specifically includes stories of second-generation entrepreneurs, examining how entrepreneurial families achieve transformation and innovation through the entrepreneurial spirit.
The publication of this third volume was made possible thanks to the support of CUHK's Alumni Affairs Office and generous donations from alumni. We sincerely invite all alumni to pre-order and help promote this book, jointly witnessing the entrepreneurial spirit and contributions of CUHK members, gaining deeper insights into CUHK and Hong Kong's entrepreneurial ecosystem, and hopefully inspiring and encouraging more people in Hong Kong society.
