The Book Festival: Call for Donation of Second-hand Books

To promote a culture of reading and knowledge sharing, Student Experience and Development Section will organise the “Book Festival” with a large-scale Book Crossing Pavilion in February and March 2026. We sincerely invite all CUHK students, staff, alumni, and friends to generously donate your books, giving these treasures a chance to start a new journey and continue their story in the hands of fellow CUHK members.

The Festival is about connection and legacy— Thousands of students benefited from the enthusiasts’ donations. While the response was proven overwhelming, the Book Festival had achieved their goals - to keep the books move, to facilitate knowledge transfer, to foster reading culture and to connect different CUHK people through sharing of books.
